Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 10 October 2026

These terms apply to the Digital Stage Studio website and software. Digital Stage Studio is a product of Alec Johnson trading as Take One Tech ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@digitalstagestudio.com.

Purchases

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries about orders and handles returns. When you buy, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms.

Your licence

When you buy Digital Stage Studio, you receive a licence to install and use the software on the number of computers your licence covers, for your own presentations, streams and recordings, including commercial work. The licence does not let you resell, share or redistribute the software or your licence key, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.

The software checks your licence from time to time and keeps working offline for a set period between checks. A subscription licence lasts while the subscription is active. A lifetime licence lasts for the life of the product.

Your content

Everything you create with Digital Stage Studio, such as shows, graphics and brand kits, belongs to you. We do not claim any rights in it. You are responsible for having the rights to the logos, images, fonts and other material you use in it.

Beta and early access

Early access and beta versions are provided for testing. They may contain faults and may change before release. Please keep your own copies of important work.

Third-party services

Digital Stage Studio works alongside other software, hardware and services, such as Ecamm, OBS, Zoom, Stream Deck and streaming platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for them. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Liability

We provide the software with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the software in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Refunds

Our refund policy is on the Refunds page.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its date, is the current one.
